Andrew & Kath Bruce

Senior Minister

Andrew originally trained and worked as a Structural Engineer and project manager, before studying at Moore Theological College (2004-2007).

In 2024 he and his wife Kath moved their family of three teenagers from St Peters Anglican Church, Cooks River to Westmead Anglican Church to takeover as Senior Minister.

He is passionate for people to hear about the love of Jesus for them and to grow in their love and hope in Jesus Christ. He is also a Parramatta Rugby League tragic.

Kath amongst many of the roles she fills is involved in S.R.E. in the local primary school and the Playtime ministry on a Friday morning.

Tim & Ebony Fernando

Student Minister

Tim & Ebony have commenced their theological studies at Moore Theological College and have agreed to fellowship and minister against the Westmead Parish for the the first two years of their studies.

They recently welcomed their first child.

 

WARDENS: The parish currently has three wardens who are more than happy to assist. Paul Hardman, Stephen Mullette, and Brett Edwards.

Our ministries are co-ordinated:

Sunday School (meeting on a Sunday morning) is headed up by Graeme Shailer.

Youth and Young Adults ministry (meeting on a Sunday afternoon) is headed up by Mikayla Mullette, Tim & Ebony Fernando, and Calvin & Grace Law.

The Men’s ministry is headed up by Ray Danam.

The Women’s ministry is headed up by Kath Bruce and Jeba (Jeevi) Rajendran.

Playtime (a group for families with young children meeting on Friday mornings) is headed up by Dianne Hardman.

S.R.E. at the local primary school is co-ordinated by Deb Edwards,
